We have fond memories of our time in Bulgaria with Lena sharing laughter and fun. This was a time of mini-skirts and Marion and Lena enjoyed themselves under the harsh glare of disapproving babas and onlookers dancing in the Primoretz Hotel in Burgas. We also had fun listening to the Beatles in Lena's Sofia apartment in the gloomy snowbound winter of 1967. 

Much later we had a wonderful holiday Euro-railing with Lena and Dave travelling by train through France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria and turkey and then back again. Dave gave a hugely entertaining commentary throughout which was recorded by Len on film which we can still revisit to relish the time together.
